BrandyRelaxing's Journal, 27 February 2011

So last night I went out to a work function and ate SO much! I ate until I was really full, but when I got home I sorely paid for it! Apparently my body is not happy when I eat too much. I had thought I'd have to use self control to not eat too much, but apparently my body now does that for me. It's definitely something I will NOT be doing again!

Although, I do have to say I have forgotten how good white bread was. I had a ciabatta bun with butter, and oh my gosh. That's going to be something I'm going to have to work to forget. It was almost as good as chocolate... which to me is very bizarre!

Onwards to eating healthy again... Brandy

I swear food is my drug of choice. My BF and I swung thru an Arby's drive thru today. I couldn'tn help it..I had to order a roast beef and swiss. Needless to say as I was opening the wrapper ever so slowly while inhaling that awsomely intoxicating smell...I happen to look over and see my BF staring at me. He started to laugh and asked if me and my sandwhich needed some alone time. I just explained how much I loved me a roast beef sandwhich and wasnt taking this one for granted and was going to savor every bite. The way I see it is if we are going to cheat on our diet we might as well savor that moment and then get back to business aftewards. So i'm glad you enjoyed the ciabatta bun and butter. We can't deny ourselves everything or we will just end up giving up. So be naughty from time to time if it helps you stay on track :)

lol... that is funny about your Arby's experience, but I do completely agree! If you're going to have something you consider a cheat, you have to make it worthwhile! I have managed not to run to the grocery store and buy a ton of white bread, so I'm confident it was filling a craving, not starting a terrible trend! I'm pretty lucky that my hubby and I are eating more responsibly together, so if we eat out, it's a choice of both of us, and it's harder to convince both of us to cheat!

I always have a love hate relationship with food. Right now on a hate. I am on the right track again myself, and getting back into the swing again. Keep going!

I know how you feel, my boyfriend celebrated his birthday. I ate way too much yesterday. I feel like crap today. I really dont miss feeling this way all the time. But its just one day, which will happen every once in a while. AS long as you keep pushing forward, it will all be ok.
