I am not losing much weight on the low fat Vegan diet, but I still like the diet in some ways -- it seems healthy to eat fruits and vegetables so I am prepared to be patient about weight loss.

I am still learning. Since my last update I set up an account at Cronometer.com to record calories and exercise, and I continue to watch youtube.com videos to learn more.

I am surprised that animal cruelty (which I thought was nutty) has become kind of important to me in a personal way. I am not trying to change the world, but if I don't eat meat today, then no animal had to die for me to live.

Make sure you are getting some healthy fats like avocados, peanuts or peanut butter, etc. Fat's do play an important role in keeping us satiated and weight loss. But go you on a vegan diet. I think it's awesome.
