I've been wanting to try something new: a fruits & vegetable diet. I've discovered that it's really hard for me to maintain because I have to cook for my family as well, so it's difficult to not eat what I'm making them. Today, however, I went out and bought tons of fruits and vegetables. I'd like to get pretty close to eating the recommended amount of these items daily--for both health and weightloss reasons. I already enjoy fruits and veggies, but I'd like to get myself to eat MORE. Much much more. I bought the fruits and veggies with a goal in mind. I'd like to try and eat JUST fresh produce for at least 5 days out of the week. On the weekends, I thought I'd treat myself to some meat, but I'd really like to see what happens if I succeed in just eating fruits and veggies most of the week. I've been trying to do some research on the "Raw Food Diet" and the "Fruits & Vegetables Diet", so I'm already prepared to experience symptoms from depriving myself of the foods I normally eat. I just hope I can succeed. One week at a time though...
