Don't give up! we all have these fall downs its okay, you just have to get back up again. And if you weighed in the next day right after the mexican then the weigh in is wrong, cause theres no way to gain 2 pounds in a night that's like 7000 calories.

You have to let that feeling go. You aren't ready to give up on yourself are you? You are worth every ounce of effort put forth to go in the right direction. Get determined. To use a quote from an unknown source: Losers let it happen, Winners make it happen. I know you are a winner. Make it happen.

Do not give up! Not so good days are a natural part of this journey. In fact, I, too, just had a rough few days myself. But we have to push harder to overcome every obstacle. Regroup and keep your eye on your goals! We can do this! =)

Some of that is sodium. I just had Red Lobster (birthday lunch) and I know not to weigh in the next day from sodium. I didn't even eat a lot. I plan on drinking plenty of water. You have to live while you lose. We all have gains on our journey. Pull up those big girl pants and get back on plan. No more pity party (giving you tough love here)!!! It's about getting healthy and strong so you can live a nice long quality life.

Suzi161 is right the extra sodium will bloat you - you body keeps your salinity at about the same as sea water so the more you add the more water you need to hold onto. Drinking plain water will help to flush it out - you watch Texan79 that 2 lbs will be gone in 36 hours if you just get back on track. Suzi161 I sent you a buddy request - I just joined and thats just what I need.

Seriously - you're screwing yourself if you do that. Pick yourself up by the boots and figure it out. WHAT was it you ate at the Mexican restaurant caused you to put on two pounds? Did you actually eat 7000 calories? Nope. I don't know your eating plan, but no doubt restaurants are NOTORIOUS for sodium. Did you have more carbs and sugar than usual? Seems totally possible at a Mexican restaurant. Drink lots of water and give it a few days. Like you, everytime I had a small setback, I either wanted to quit or did quit...all the way up to about 300 lbs. Now, when I have an "excursion", I try to figure out the WHY. I've weighed myself everyday on my blog at www.alongweighaway.com and it fluctuates EVERY SINGLE DAY even when I don't eat out!
