Today was supposed to be a recovery day, but I just couldn't stay away from the gym. It's the only time I get to do something 'just for me' every day and I knew my brain needed it more than anything.

I had 2 really good leg days in a row, so I opted to just do some core work today. Sure the intensity isn't that of a good run on the treadmill, but I reminded myself that I need to let those legs recover if I want to hit it hard again anytime soon.

I saw a t-shirt the other day that made me smile. It read something like, "I like running because I really really really really really really really really love to eat."
