SherrieC's Journal, 04 April 2014

Afternoon All, I don't have much to say today, except this week has really sucked. I have been to the gym once and that was Monday. For almost a year now I have been dealing with menopause or the beginnings of it. As of two days ago I received a very unwelcome package,TOM. Needless to say that I haven't seen TOM in several months and it has thrown me for a loop. Guess I will try and got to the gym today with my husband, but I have to say I am not gonna do much. Although, I will get back next week and kick some butt. Have a great weekend everyone.

I feel for you. Going through the same menopause stuff. As for exercise, do what you can ... and feel good about it until you are able to do more :)

Sorry! I went through surgical menopause, but takes hormone replacement. I am a bit leery of the day that I'll have to wean off the hormones. The only positive - I'll know what to expect and can somewhat control it. Getting back one's motivation is hard at times. Maybe once you get to the gym, you'll find it (your motivation) there. Good luck! Hope next week is better.

Hi I too have been in the menopause for about 5 years or more, my TOM have been from one extreme to the next, they say if you have not had one for over 12 months then it is more likely that they will not return, but I do not know how true that is. I just keep telling myself that it is just something us women have to endure. When my energy is low due to the drop in B12 then I really do not push myself so much and can alway pick it up once things have settled down. Just remember you are not alone, do not give up, keep happy and healthy. :)
