My weight hasn`t budged.
In the past I would`ve seen a loss after eating the way I have been the past week. Also I gained the 2.7kg that I`m trying to lose within a week! I did eat poorly during that time but it seems a little steep!
I have no idea what is going on. Is it water? hormonal? (still no TOM since 2 months and not pregnant, confirmed by bloodtest). I`m sure it is not a muscle gain either because I have been doing my usual walking exercise(ab challenge since this morning:-))and nothing more.
Will weigh in daily again and continue eating 1400 to 1600 calories and see what happens.
Also my Girls and I have been sruck down by a cold but will continue my ab challenge to the best of my ability!

Stop eating wheat and grains!! That's the most important. Eat less fruits, too much sugar, more vegetables, same nutritions. Add more Protein to your diet, less carbs.Don't be scared of fat, but needs to be good fat. That's what I did and I went from 70kg to 62kg with NO excercie, in 4-6 month. But that was a year ago. Now I am sticking to my diet and workout everyday, want to loose the last bit of bodyfat, just struggeling with water retention now. Good Luck :)I hope you try it ;)

Impressive Insita! No exercise at all? I agree with the wheat, grains and sugar advice. I'm on Southbeach Diet and can truly say that eliminating those from my diet worked out for me. Don't rely solely on calorie counting. Be mindful of what you are eating. The goal is living a healthy lifestyle. =)

Thanks for the tips! Whole grains too or just refined? I always thought fruit was ok because of all the fibre it helps the body process the fruit sugar. Don't think I can give up fruit it has become my sweets replacement:-)

I think fruit is a filling and sweet substitute - I'd be uneasy to remove it since it generally helps me keep processed sugars out. And as far as grains, get rid of any white or processed - I'd think going all natural can't hurt. It's those chemicals that our body can't process. Fruits and veggies help to move them through our body. It might help to switch up your workouts and one can always drink more water to flush out those toxins :) I hope this helps - keep at it, you're so close!

I agree that grains very often slow you down. Especially late in the evening because you don't have proper time to burn them off. But then again I can eat the same thing every day for months. Lol

Will try giving up the grains apart from wholemeal oats. I agree with the fruit the love of fit it helps me avoid refined sugar too! Iamachristianjesusfreak i can eat the same thing for years my family makes jokes about it all the time!

It's normal not to see that loss now because your your body's new weight requires less food to maintain its weight. Nothing to worry about! :) Hang in tight and make slow adjustments to either exercise or calories. Sooner or later you will see results, even despite the weight fluctuations, which are almost definitely not related to fat, (at least most of the fluctuations). I think that's a pretty good plan (to keep that stable calorie intake and see what happens in a longer period of time). I wish I had an answer for the TOM issue but I hope it's nothing! All the best to your girls! :)

I have my doubts that fruit will contribute to weight gain because of all the fiber in it ;) I mean, I eat lots of fruit and my weight is still going down, slowly but surely.

It's not the fruit. I ate fruit smoothies everyday for lunch for a long time when I was losing weight.

And smoothies have much less fiber than the fruit itself, supposedly ;)

I was using fruit and milk to make them so I doubt that applied to me lol! I don't like packaged foods. :)

Oh, I had forgotten that you made your own juice and smoothies! That's probably different ;) I think (not sure though) the fiber is only removed by actually removing the pulp. I don't believe the fiber is removed just by liquefying the mixture so yeah :)

I did strawberries, blueberries, banana, raspberries so they were all whole. No fiber removed. :)

And they definitely must be mouth watering! ;)
