20 pounds gone in 29 days. Wow! I feel great, mostly. Yesterday was a rough day. It reminded me of in the book Made to Crave when she talks about fitting in her skinny jeans. She thought all her problems would disappear now that she was thin but they didnt. Well I knew this but yesterday still came as shock and was upsetting.

My husband's family has been coming over to help a lot lately. I dont need the help but we are trying to move and so I figured the more time they spent together the better. Yesterday they came to "help". Well my husband decided to leave all kinds of stuff out in the kitchen. I politely told him I am not his mother but his wife I will not walk behind him picking up after him.That is all it took. His mother said You know I dont have to hear this. You are always belittling my son. ARE YOU SERIOUS?!!!! I told her she was right about one thing she didnt have to hear it. I didnt invite her there and she certainly could leave. Then my husband came in and held up his hands and told us both to stop. Excuse me? I am the wife! This is my house too not hers! I should not be told to shut up for standing up for myself.

I went upstairs and stayed in the bathroom until she left. I called my friend crying. We have been hit hard this week from the enemy. First the car, then the kids all got sick then his awful family. It was all I could take. What would I do to calm myself....eat. I realized this may be what Satan is doing and I looked in the mirror and said, "I will not eat crap because I am having a crap day!" And I didnt.

I exercised, I prayed and then I rested. Last night though my youngest daughter had to be rushed to the er with a 104 degree fever. She has croup. After all that has been going on seeing that 2lb weight loss was a small victory. Today I am feeling a bit run down but I will go to the gym, tan and work out and then rest because it all starts again tomorrow.

I just figured you out!!! Formerly known as yogamama right? Welcome back buddy!!! So happy to see you!!! When I saw your picture on your profile today I put it together!! You'll get it off again ... I've gained a few too and it is frustrating but it is life. I'm so glad you are here again!!

Praise God for your resolve. That is just how the devil works, but way to resist him and now he will flee. Hang in buddy. I'm praying for you and your family.
