I am 29. I have 5 children so far, 4 girls and a boy. I am an adoptive mom and a special needs mom. Nov 1st 2008 I started losing weight by July 2009 I had lost 95lbs. Then I got lazy. My husband lost his job and we were adopting. I gained about 40-45lbs back. The adoption is over now, my husband is back to work and I am done making excuses as to why I can eat 10 mini candy bars in a single setting. I adopted the philosophy "you only live once" but that was killing me. Now its back to the hard work to get this weight off once again and maybe this time learn my lesson.

I dont want to be thin, I want to be fit and healthy.

Hi everyone..
Hi. I too have 5 children and am 29. Our last was welcomed into our home the end of May. Sad to say I gained 40lbs with him and he was adopted, lol. I have 4 girls and a boy. Good Luck on the weight loss. This site is very helpful.

HCG starvation diet or even death diet
Amen Mmmily. What they dont realize too is that some of the hcg is 80% rubbing alcohol. Gross! Would you pour a bottle of rubbing alcohol down your throat? No, but if it says hcg they do it. And sure 500 cals will get you to lose for a week or 2 max. Then you hit a stand still because your body thinks its starving. I speak from experience. I was losing weight very well at 1200 but someone said that was too high so i went to 600 for a week i felt fine and full but no weight loss then read up on how many cals i should have got it up there and the weight flew off again. I did it right and lost 95lbs then took some bad advice and started eating junk food again and gained some back but I am back on track. I honestly feel bad for the ones mislead by this diet. I looked into it for months because I was desperate and wanted a quick fix though I knew there was none.

7 NEW RULES for the Gym
I was on the treadmill next to 2 girls that were doing dancing and cheerleading moves, loudly.

Guys talking on their phones on the machines when I got yelled at for taking an emergency call on my special needs son in the bathroom.

The gym has a bucket full of tootsie rolls at the entrance and has bagel tuesday and pizza monday.....umm? Why would I eat that crap after a workout or before?!

Guys taking a machine that I am next n line for and staying on it more than the allotted time(it was in a section that had red and green lights and had an order to use them in).

People not wiping down the machines and lots of sweat on them yucky!

How Often Do you weigh yourself?
I was doing it daily but was obsessed with it so I knew I needed to put the scale away and will do weekly or 2x a month.
