DairyKing's Journal, 10 February 2014

Well, I have almost made it through the day, and managed to eat only about 75% of my RDI. It was tougher this evening than it was over the weekend. I had to stop at a number of stores on the way home, so I knew I was going to get home fairly late. It was so tempting to stop at McDonalds, and then the food court in the mall, and then when I got gas at Caseys, they had those slices of pizza and cappuccinos. Felt like I had gone through the trenches. Made it through the whole course with only succumbing to a medium coffee with half and half cream. I considered that an overwhelming success. Good thing DW had supper ready when I got home, I was starving. However, I still only had one helping. Yay!

I'm thinking I'm ready to go back to the pushups in the morning. I just won't go past the pain this time. Everything in moderation; I have to listen to my own preaching. Half of you are probably already in bed as I write this. To the rest of you, good night and get some rest! Toodles!

Wow, you sound like you have had quite a struggle! I can relate to your report and sympathize. You should be proud of yourself because you conquered successfully. You must be the general of the army in your battle of the bulge. Keep up the good work. I'm rooting for you!

Yeah... Well done. Quite an achievement, bad news to shop when you are hungry... BUT you did it. :-)
