My little girl has just started kindergarten(she`s 3.5yrs) and i have decided to walk there which will be 1.5h of walking 3 days a week(2 days every other week). She`s just learnt to ride a bike so she will be on that and the baby in the pram:). I think it will be fun and healthy for everyone and teach my children good habits.
I love the kindy they are very strict with food, they can`t have any pre packaged foods,no sweets, chips, biscuits, muesli bars etc.
I bake "daetschli"(swiss word) which is just alot of grated vegetables baked with egg and a bit of wholemeal flour! she loves them and thinks it`s a real treat:)
I`m wearing my pedometer today to see the distance and how many steps it is to walk both ways. I`m also curious how many calories it will say i burnt compared to what fatsecret says.
I will be more hungry with all the walking(can feel it already!!)plus i am still breastfeeding several times a day so i will eat enough to not go hungry but stick to healthy foods and still aim for a deficit.

Enjoy the weather and don't go hungry! I love walking my kids to school. It is only like a .75 mile round trip

Wow! 1.5 hours that's some heavy walking! :) Excellent to shed weight though! Is it a 2 or 4 stroke bike? Ahah Never mind! I'm just kidding! :) That sounds like a nice kindergarten! It's possible that you get hungrier with exercise though, strangely enough I've seen something a while ago about exercise actually making you less hungry which is strange and I still haven't been able to confirm it completely :)

I've noticed that if i am hungry and then exercise and not eat the hunger goes away only to come back later:)

I find it very difficult to just deny hunger :P I admire that strength of will! :)

I mean to deny hunger what it wants lol

it`s not easy but i tend to regret it and it really throws me to eat off plan:0 so i save the food for later. if i`m starving ill eat but alot of the time it`s just that i feel like something and don`t really need it!

I eat just not the bad stuff my brain tries talking me into sometimes because I can eat something healthy and after I am full I don't care that I didn't eat the quicker unhealthier things. I am actually happy I took the time to eat properly.

Yeah Ninaj! It is no accident that we feel like eating junk food when we're hungry. Our brain specifically asks us for high caloric food. I've heard that in a documentary :) That's why it's "dangerous" to be hungry heheh.
