Onto my next mini-goal of 140 lbs. This is TOM week so I should get more whooshes. Also eating more fish now. I seem to lose more when I'm eating fish, as compared to red meat.

I just bought some tilapia. I don't usually eat that much fish. Maybe I should eat more to lose weight. Wishing you many whooshes my friend.

Although Tilapia is flavorful, I read that it's about the fattiest of the fish and you may as well actually be eating beef! I know there is also some contradictory info out there... so just a heads up... http://www.associatedcontent.com/article/866321/tilapia_a_bad_fish_for_heart_health.html

Stef: that lemon pepper marinade sounds good. I had cod, but prepared it with olive oil and garlic. I liked it, but hubby did not. Lemon pepper marinade sounds like an excellent alternative. Would you be willing to share your recipe?

I buy it from Aldi's Helen...it has 2 grams of carbs in a tablespoon, but it doesn't take much to marinade a piece of fish and most of the marinade stays in the bag when you take the fish out.

If fish works well for you, then eat lots.:) My preference for fish is Sole, but can't get it very often. So I settle for Swai, Flounder, and Haddock. Now we can expect to see a BIG whoosh from you, right? Have a great evening.:)

I've been eating a lot of fish and the weight has been dropping at a very nice rate. I found Bronzed Tilapia in the frozen section of the store and it has a sweet marinade that has some hot pepper flakes, it is so good. They have a lot of pre-marinated salmon in the stores these days and I know you shop at Trader's, I love their seasoned Mahi Mahi and they have several types of seasoned salmon and tuna.
