Albright777's Journal, 29 January 2009

Well, today turned out to be a little better. I'm trying to watch the emotional eating, and bought gum.

I got to see my Dad today. He is still in the CCU to get his heart rate regulated and bring up his O2 level. I was glad to see him without having the breating tube in. That really upset me on Monday. My Mom broke down and cried, so I couldn't cry until I got home. I didn't want her to see me crying. Dad was really happy to see me there today.

Tonight Jim is going to help me get the house ready for Abby's birthday party. Tomorrow I'll be helping my Sisters-in-law get ready for my Father-in-law's surprise party. YIKES. I'll be glad when this week is over!!

GO STEELERS!!!

Your Pal,
Julie ;-)

Aw, that's so hard to see your dad in a hospital bed all hooked up to things. I'm glad he got the tube out and got to see you. Parties, parties, parties for you! Behave! :)

It really is upsetting and scary to see your loved one with a breathing tube. Hope your Dad gets getter soon. Hang in there. GO STEELERS!!

Sending good thoughts to you about your dad. Hoping all will be well with everyone in your family soon! Sounds as if you have lots going on all at once. Sigh! Times like these really put something like the Super Bowl in perspective.

Hope your dad gets better real fast. I know that just being there is a great comfort to both your mom and dad. You are a strong lady! I hope you have fun with the parties! Enjoy yourself!

You are very strong! You are taking care of so many loved ones. It sounds like you're taking everything in stride, though, and you're even taking care of yourself! I hope your dad gets better soon!

I am sorry your dad is still so ill and hope he will be well on his way to recovery very very soon. I understand how devastating it can be to see someone you love so much with tubes sticking out of them. It is heart breaking and I wish you and he the very best at this difficult time.

Just checking back in to see how you are doing and letting you know that I am saying my prayers for you! Take care! Enjoy your special days with your little one and your Pittsburg team -- in spite of the curcumstance with your dad!
