So I started with Weight Watchers, which I didn't find suitable to me because I couldn't find a right balance of points to keep myself satisfied, I couldn't eat nuts, and I had trouble figuring out how many points my homecooked meals added up to. I just don't have that much time in a day.

Then I decided to do South Beach, I have had sucess with that in the past. So I did week one of phase one and I crashed. I just felt so badly, I was weak, in a bad mood, etc. I know that's partly the sugar withdraws but at the same time I work 11 hour days and am constantly going. I need that energy. I just felt too badly to continue.

So, I have now decided I am going to do my own diet. I need to lose weight. I would like to get my weight down by my wedding date, Sept 13, 09. I am going to eat healthily and work out and hopefully I can get some results.

I am going to eat whole grains, eat three meals a day with two snacks, and drink lots of water. I also have a 5 day a week work out plan. I am going to try to eat a balance of carbs, protien, and veggies, and fruits. So if I don't see results I will have to try something different. . . I hope this works because dieting isn't good for me. I think I am making my metabolism worse. I don't know I am clueless, maybe I need to see a dietician??

whole grains, veggies&fruits, and lean protein are all great for weight loss. They keep you full and have a ton of nutrients. Sounds like you have a good plan set out. Your food diary looks good too. wish you the best! Good luck!
