I just can't stick with it... with school and work and lack of sleep it is difficult to stick with it. On top of it I am going home for a week on Monday, it seems to late to lose any weight now, and I probably won't stick with it on vacation. I may start over on December 29th. On the plus side I am not gaining weight. I don't eat particularly unhealthy without the diet, I just eat a little too much and don't excersise very often.

I am not sure whether to stick with WW or do a different diet. I have difficulty with the limited amount of nuts I can eat on WW. But I think that may be an excuse not to stick to it. I have had sucess on South Beach but getting through phase one is painful. I just want to see some results. I followed WW strictly for a few weeks and didn't lose anything. So I got frustrated and have been following it poorly ever since.

you can do it and stick with it. I have the faith. WW is more of a community diet where you have to use their program and pay for their food and counting sucks. I love my diet that i am on because I don't have to count anything. I just have to watch the sugar and cut out all carbs. It's kinda like atkins only with healthier foods and meat choices (grassfed beef, range free chicken) and good fats. On this diet you can eat whatever nuts you want as long as they are raw and unsalted :). If I can honestly say I am happy with what I am eating on this diet and I had to have been one of the most pickiest eaters :). I did a total 360 and changed my lifestyle and I have 2 jobs, am a full time caregiver and probably average about 5 hours a night. You can do this :) don't give up

Main thing is don't put any added stress upon yourself over your diet or food. Life already has enough challenges in itself. Sometimes it's best to just find things that you truly enjoy doing to give you a break from the hectic stuff. Then come back refreshed with a new outlook to meet your goals. I wish you well

I hope you don't give up. But I agree - you need to be more patient with yourself. You didn't put this weight on overnight - and it probably isn't going to come off that way either (at least not stay off, if you do happen to lose it fast!!). Slow and steady wins the race - emphasize the lifestyle changes you are making. And make yourself realize that those are habits that are going to change FOREVER - not just until you get to your "ideal" weight. Experiment and read about some different diets during your 'break'. Find one that you can LIVE with - not just use temporarily. The best diets teach us how to eat better for the rest of our lives. But you have to make that committment. You can do this!!
