Wishing a WONDERFUL morning to all of my lovely, wonderful, BEAUTIFUL, health-minded Fat Secret Peoples!


I am not doing so well with the emotions. Worry for my Teta (grandma in Arabic) as I learn more details and for my MIL though I did see her yesterday and she is slowly recovering, it was just an intense surgery. They were working on here spine in the neck area and went in from the front.

My Teta is not only stil in ICU she intubated (which I did not know until yesteray evening) and the water on her lungs is only slowly draining. I keep trying to decide whether to drive home. Mom keeps telling me not to come, and I don't know what I could do if I DID go, but yikes. The bright spot is Mom was telling me the details of what they are going in when she gets out; things like knocking down a wall to the one bathroom with a shower downstairs since stairs will likely not be doable and she wil need to be able to bathe. The recovery for her right side wil be long because the blood on that side of her brain put too much pressure for a long time. So if all the plans for when she recovers enough to get out of the hospital are that detailed I assume that means things are pretty hopeful. I cannot imagine how much of a mess my father is. He is very emotional and it IS his MOM. He is pretty hard of hearing so I don't know if I could even communicate well with him on the phone, it is normally difficult and might be even more so now.

Old Man Scale: Well I am up about a lb. No big surprise. eating is only so-so and have not been exercizing. Man do I need my yoga tonight. Thank goodness I have it.


January Goals:
Ceiling: 10lbs to 230, Floor goal: 5 more lbs (235)

Next Mini: 235! 3.5lbs more!

Goal by my birthday, March 15th: weigh in @ 220.
