MY GOAL of the YEAR for 2014
Focus on doing things in steps in order to form habits that enable me to not just reach my goals but more importantly to maintain my goals as a lifestyle!

DIET:Fous on lean,plant based proteins,fiber,complex carbs,healthy fats, vitamins & minerals in their proper amounts,for me,6 times a day. Doing so keeps metabolism high & eliminates cravings.
Drink at least 94 oz.of water a day. Water puts elasticity into stretched out skin & flushes out fat from the body.

REMEMBER
I can eat all the healthy food I want,in their proper amounts,& still be fat!
I can exercise my butt off on a regular basis & still be fat!
I know this,it isn't "news".
It takes BOTH diet & exercise to obtain the results I want!

EXERCISE:Cardio for burning fat & strength training to build muscle.Adding lean muscle mass to my body will turn me into a calorie burning furnace! I will then be able to push thru my workouts with more intensity.Gaining strength will give me endurance to keep going!However,muscle has memory & be-
come accustomed to routine so switching things up (in both food & exercise)
will keep it "guessing" & limit,"limitations" on me.(Some call this muscle-
confusion but I don't like confusion,I prefer "guessing".)

COMMIT: ONCE I BEGIN, THERE'S NO GIVING IN. I'M IN TO WIN.

STEP 1:Carb.Cycle every other day
Begin with a low calorie day & consume no more than 300 non-protein (cal's
from fat/carbs.)Increase protein to prepare muscles for & give me fuel needed to make some drastic changes in my body.

STEP 2:On "regular" eating days consume the #of calories calculated to my needs(RDI).

REGARDLESS OF WHICH DAY IM ON,BE LOYAL IN FOOD CHOICES.THIS IS NOT A CHANCE TO PIG OUT & RUIN THE GOOD RESULTS OF MY HARD WORK TO BE WHO I WANT TO BE!!

FOCUS ON THE EFFORT ... THE RESULTS AUTOMATICALLY FOLLOW!

Thanks Lynn, This IS my year! I have about 65 pounds to lose in order to reach my goal weight of 120,that breaks down to 7 lbs monthly or 1.75 a week. :) yes I am thorough LOL. With that weight I am losing 2.5" a month to become a size 7,which is my feel good weight & size. At the moment Im in the range considered obese but am closing in on the overweight range. :) Im taking the steps!!!
