Annabelle3117's Journal, 28 December 2013

Well hello there Christmas weight! Actually not too bad, considering I was carb binging well into last night. I have acknowledge the demons that are haunting me, as well as the fact that sugar cookies do nothing to keep them at bay. Today Is a new day, rising from the ashes and moving forward. (And possibly throwing out all of the cookies)

Only working two days next week, woohoo! I don't mind working, I LOVE staying busy. However, these twelve hour stuck in one spot shifts are for the stinking birds. My normal split shifts keep me running around like a crazy woman, and that's the way I like it. One more week of twelves' then we are back to normal. I will be able to get to the gym Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday so that's not bad at all.

Looking forward into 2014 has made me very aware of some goals I'd like to be working towards. My one year anniversary of this weight loss is in March. I fully intend to hit my -100lbs by then. That is a difficult goal, but completely doable. I just have to get back in biggest loser mode. Hopefully running will give me the calorie burn boost to start getting those big numbers again. Only one way to find out. Then we have my birthday in the beginning of April, and the dreaded Easter at the end of April.

Today, however, I have lots of shopping to do. Grocery shopping to be specific. I need to shop smart, get the good foods in here and jump start my new year. Don't get me wrong, Tuesday is going to be bad lol. New Years with my family pretty much means we deep fry everything, and of course drink all night long. Wish me luck :-)

I will spend the day trying to get my ducks in a row. I hope everyone has a great weekend!

Hello Phoenix... Refresh my memory. Didn't you want to be outside when I tossed my cookies (not literally) to the critters? I got through yesterday with no slips. Hooray for me. But thinking of the 4lb gain kept me away from the pantry. But I did drop .6 from yesterday. I will attempt to leave the evil carbs there as hubby is still eating them. Should it become too much of a temptation, I'll put them in the freezer. Which reminds me I've got to cut up the fruit cake and put it in the freezer today. And exercise.

Those damn cookies. I put mine in the freezer and they still call to me through the freezer door - atleast when they are in there it's a little easier to resist. Funny though how good a frozen cookie tastes - kidding!

I know what you mean. Eating those cookies doesn't help, and on top of that, after you eat it, you think: that wasn't nearly as good as my brain cooked up that it was going to be. Every time. We never learn. Well, we learn for awhile. Use it, and rise from the ashes! LOL. Oh well. I say throw the cookies out!!! :D WTG, Yo!!! You're going to kick butt by the time that anniversary comes around. You already have.
