These last few days have been torturous. I feel like I'm starving, and I am still over on my net carbs. I have to eat less vegetables. My mood is dismal, and it makes me want to eat. But I know that eating a bunch of junk will only make me feel worse, so I am trying to hold out.

Diet Calendar Entry for 12 December 2013:

I hear you on the feeling dismal makes you want to eat! Happens to me all the time. I wouldn't be so quick to reduce your veggies. Rather, consider dropping that flavored tea (14NC?) and give up the Cheez Wiz (8NC). Flavored tea can be helpful, but look for one with much fewer carbs. As for the Cheez Wiz....try regular, natural cheese. If you're hungry, try celery (not my fave), hard-boiled eggs, your own tuna salad (tuna, celery, real mayo), cheese sticks, or bacon slices as snack items. If you are still feeling tired, go with at least a cup of full sodium broth per day, unless you have to medically restrict sodium. While there's some degree of discomfort with any change in a person's WOE, it should be just a temporary issue that resolves itself fairly quickly. Those veggies help in a number of ways, but are supposed to be helping to keep your stomach full. Be sure you're getting all of your water in, as well. Good luck!
