onefatmamma's Journal, 06 December 2013

Only exercise I have been getting in is through work (standing, squatting, climbing ladders, etc...),housework (up & down stairs to do laundry, dusting, etc...), and shopping (groceries & Christmas), but I guess since for so many years I just sit around the house doing much of nothing besides the housework; my body is burning some fat :)
Hopefully, when my boyfriend gets his garage floor poured, I will have the half of the basement I've been begging for to make my home gym. Going from the bedroom to the living room & moving stuff around in order to have room to exercise on the floor is getting old; therefore, I don't do it like I should.
I know I shouldn't let anything stop me but I just get so frustrated that I just want to give up, having no support really sucks!
But I will continue on, smiling with what weight I have lost & refusing to gain it back...if it means I have to move back out on my own in order to have what I WANT!

   Support

Comments
I hear you-I went to aqua fit twice this week and was going to walk but we had some snow yesterday so that curtailed that idea for a day anyway. Tonight I will be out with m daughter and granddaughter looking at Christmas lights so we will be walking for about 2 hours. I think that should count for something. It is interesting when you talk about no support because I have found many people (spouses, boyfriends, family and friends) are not sensitive to our needs for support, area to exercise, cost to exercise etc, etc. Somehow it is not in their radar. It seems the only support we have is what we create for ourselves. I also have a faith that helps me but in the end it boils down to me taking the action, whatever that may be. I think I had better get on the scale and see what damage I have done in the last week. I ate out way too many times to count. Today is another day,the sun is shining and I will do my best. Good luck to you my friend.
