Did a good job recording exercise and meals yesterday until I attended a healing meeting last night that served samples of "healthy" non meat meal items. There was no way to accurately estimate the calorie count in the items that were served. I suspect most of the items were high in "healthy fat" which loads on calories. They did taste good but they included different meat substitutes and avocado mayonnaise sauce was loaded onto the sandwiches.
Even though my overall plan has been to simply be a steady plodder balancing food with the right ammount of physical activity I believe I will need to incorporate a measure of therapeutic fasting in order to reach my unltimate goals and offset the days where I miss the mark.
So today will be a day of therapeutic fasting. The challenge with this is that in order to get sufficient protein on a plant based diet you have to eat enough calories to offset the lack of meat. I do not want to go back into muscle and joint pain.
