When I look at my food log, I get really nervous about how much I'm eating throughout the day versus the number of carbs, fat, sugar, etc. and so I dread stepping on the scale. Yesterday was a major nibble day for me, but my nibble choices included raw almonds, carb smart ice cream, and Atkins bars. Imagine my surprise this morning when the scale said that I was 2 lbs lighter. I know that I'm losing rapidly to start and that I will need to prepare myself for when it slows or I hit the ever dreaded "plateau", but it feels great right now so I will enjoy the ride while I can. It has greatly improved my spirit to see the weight finally coming off!
