Really cold here today. Only in the mid 20's all day. Art's bulldozer decided it didn't want to turn anymore, so helped him with that. Chores this morning as usual and getting ready to go back to the barn as I type. I did get to work on my quilt a little today. Maybe a half hour, but at least it was a little down time for me. Played with my grandson for a while. Other than that not much happened. Nothing fun to report today. Hope all my bud's had a glorious Sunday.:)

I am so not looking forward to Winter. I think it is my age catching up to me.lol I do know, since I've lost weight, the cold bothers me more. Once it gets into my bones, I just can't get rid of it. I use to be able to take a nice hot shower to chase it out of the bones, but that doesn't work anymore. Maybe I will have to wear 2 sets of long johns this year.lol

Laurie, I too got chilled the other day....but it was only in the upper 50's!!! I grew up in the Midwest but I can't imagine what I'd do in 20-degree weather right now - and you've got to get out to the barn in those temps too! Do you ever use those small packages you break open and they're supposed to keep your hands, or feet, warm? Always wondered if they'd really work.

I don't dare complain about cold weather in this crowd (I live in Los Angeles, where the high today was about 60 degrees). My Sunday was spent grocery shopping: went to 3 markets to pick up almost everything for Thanksgiving before my work week started.

Sandy, this is mild. Usually in Jan and Feb. we can get to -20 with a chill factor of -45.
Bren, I've never heard or seen anything called cuddle duds. Do they sell them on-line? Guess I should probably look them up. Wearing men's long-johns really gets old, especially when the draft comes through the little peep hole in the front.lol
hbkin, I just don't look forward to Jan and Feb. I've gotten all my goodies together for the big feast. I sure hope I'm ready for this. I think I am, but I could be mistaken.
