Hubby and I went out for Mexican last night! It was good and we had fun. I'm challenging myself to no soda until our next weigh in, 2 weeks. Today is day 2. I think this will eliminate a lot of empty calories I am taking in.

Good for you on the no soda! I just can't give up my soda, I do drink diet, but I know it's still not good for me. Maybe at that 2 week weigh in you'll be more motivated to keep going with it if you see a good loss.

I guess I'm lucky in that I've never liked coke or pepsi or other kinds of soda. But I do know it's hard for people to give up. Congrats to you for going 2 days without now! Like Mars said maybe after 2 weeks you'll be motivated to keep going with a good loss!

That's what I'm hoping, that it will help the loss and thus keep me motivated to stay away from it. Usually if I can get through the morning without it I'm good for the day and will drink water and/or tea for the rest of the day.
