Albright777's Journal, 24 October 2008

Ok. Getting back on track. This week has been crazy with appointments, and Abby's social life. I have been trying to watch what I eat, but sometimes I have gone off the deep end.

This weekend feels like I'm doomed to temptation already. Today my husband and I started remodeling our office. It's one of the only rooms left that we haven't touched in 6 years. There goes my junk room. LOL. I know I will get so involved that I will forget, or just won't want to stop what I'm doing to have a healthy snack. Tomorrow, my parents want us to come to their town Halloween parade and trick-or-treat. My little girl, Abby, is alergic to peanuts, so this stresses me out. And you know who will end up eating all the resees peanut butter cups. Maybe I'll just give them to my Dad. Sunday and Monday we will be back at it in the office. Hopefully we will be done by Monday, because Tuesday my husband goes back to work. He'll be stressed if it's not finished, and that stresses me out.

I think that tonight before bed, I'm going to cut up some veggies for snacks. Maybe that will help with the days ahead.

On a lighter note, my hamstrings are feeling better, and I finally got to see my chiropractor! YEAH!!!! Now my right foot won't kick my left when I'm running. He told me that I may have been having hamstring problems because I was so out of whack. LOL. But, the good news is that I'm feeling pretty good physically today. I'm going to try to get a run in tonight, and definately on Sunday afternoon.

I hope all of you have a great weekend. I'll check in soon. Hopefully I'll be able to check in more this week.

Your Pal,
Julie ;-)

Sounds like a GREAT plan on the veggies! It's so much easier when you have stuff ready to grab!

Halloween is a challenging time for young mothers like you: the candy, the added stress, and even the silly rivalry about whose daughter is the prettiest princess at the "Cinderella" Halloween costume ball. You have a GAME PLAN and that strategy is GREAT! I wish I had had a game plan during the years when my son was active - active - active in sports. I had a bad case of BLEACHER BUTT! Good luck during the upcoming holiday seasons!

Yes! Have healthy snacks on hand - it really helps! Don't get me started on DIY home projects... after one disaster, we've sworn off them. One of these days we'll be able to afford someone to come fix the damage! =8-0

Bleacher butt! I like that. Now I can blame it on the kids!
