Getting back on track but been doing a lot of thinking... i've been having some medical issues, headaches, breakthrough bleeding, etc from my birth control pills. I've been researching a lot online and am thinking about stopping the pill. i have been on bc for 8 years or more (i lost track) we don't plan on ttc until my husband finishes school in may and gets a job but that is right around the corner. Any advice from anyone who has been in my shoes? Has anyone had any side effects gtting off the pill?

Hey, I responded to your post in the forums. I also had side effects from the pill (mostly depression, not so much medical) and had to stop taking it. We used the probably irresponsible "natural" birth control methods. We weren't planning on having kids yet but it would have been not terrible if I did get pregnant, which I did but only years after doing things without the pill. You can always start tracking your ovulation and figuring out when you ovulate and use a condom when you might be fertile. (TMI: I did get pregnant using the "pulling out" method. Apparently I ovulated much earlier in my cycle than I thought. I never tracked it.) Seems like the pill really isn't worth it for you. (My two cents.)
