Day 39 (Week 6): 10 TO 30 POUNDS BY November OR BUST

Good morning all you wonderful, health-minded, lovely FS peoples!

I would probably bounce this morning except I am sore all over. In a good way but yowzer!

Last day of the free gym membership and I went despite doing the Wii Fit Both Saturday and Sunday. I may give my poor muscles a break tomorrow. I made a promise to myself to do at least 10 mins a day on the Wii Fit so tomorrow I may just do that minimum only. We shall see, though, the thing is fun so I may end up doing more! :)

Old Man Scale was a bit grouchy this morning but I did wake him up awefully early! We are all allowed those days every once in awhile, I suppose. I fluct up a little, but I am not recording it since it was MUCH earlier in the morning than my normal weigh in time. (only 1.5 anyway so it really was likely because of the timing.)

Okay so the Wii Fit is VERY neat, I am liking it. I think it will only help me to my goals faster. I actually feel confident that I can replace my gym trips with the Wii Fit! And with my gamer mentality the game of collecting points and unlocking new games is appealing. It also calculates my BMI and such so I have more measurements of how I am doing. I can also log my other activityies in it but since i do that I here I don't know if I will use that log or not.


Floor Goal: 250 Done, D-done, Done, Done!!! 13lbs down from the beginning of the challenge, 17 down from when I first started watching in August.

Mid-range: 245 Weigh in at 245 for Thanksgiving with my folks, which is 18lbs from the beginning of the challenge. 21.5 from when I first started and 4.5 from now. The goal date is now officially Nov. 1st
Ceiling goal: 235 by the 30th of November. If my averages keep up, this should be no problem. It is a bit of a stretch, but that is what a ceiling goal is all about. :) 28 from challenge start, 15.5 from now and 31.5 from when I first started watching.
Christmas Challenge Goal:230 by December 25th!! 36.5 from when I first started watching.

1st things first 245 then 240 then on down, down down!

hehe yeah I tried this full body something machine instead of the treadmill today. Kept my heart rate in aerobic for a goodly chunk of my work out....Bounce ouch is about right...I jump up out of my desk to run out to the warehouse and I am sorta pulled up short by my stiff muscles hehehe

A gamer can not resist the temptation of XP! LOL Good to see that Wii Fit is working out for you. What have you done with it so far (as far as different exercises)?

Strenght training, several different moves, including core body twists, push-up/side plank (tough I had to take abreak on this oen even though it is similar to some o fmy yoga moves), Jack knives and a couple others, I think. Aerobic: hula hoop, steps and running (the ruinning about killed me) All the balance ones I have open: Soccer ball head butt, slalom, ski jump, this almost labyrith like thing where you get the balls to go in the holes and tightrope. I have not perused the yoga section just yet.

You are doing a great job weighing in every day. I find that facing the music is essential for my own program of weigh loss too. Keep up the good work!
