Long weekend was great, a real whirlwind though! We got up early Saturday morning to drive 3 hours to the lake where we stayed overnight until Sunday evening with my DH's family. It was fun and relaxing. My son had a good time and was having fun with his fishing rod. He's getting good at casting for a 3 year old! Ate too much but you gotta splurge once in a while. I didn't track for those 2 days! I went Sunday morning with my sister-in-law for a long walk, about 8.5 km. On the way back I got her to do some jogging. She's been on weight watchers for almost 3 years now and is struggling to get to her goal weight. But I could see why. She needs to stop the grazing, drink more water and up the intensity of her workouts. I tried to drop some hints to her. Yesterday was the Civic holiday but my DH had to work. So me and the little guy went over to my parents where I got help clean out the heifer barn and then put fresh bedding back in. It took us over 3 hours to do and I have a blister on my palm for it! I also got instuctions on how to do the chores for the next week as my parents have decided to get away and go to for a drive to PEI but will be back by Sunday night. So I will be feeding the heifers, milking the cow and feeding the 2 calves for the next 6 days (morning and night) plus going to work! Should be fun but it's only a few days.

Back to work today. Do you ever find that when you've eaten too much on the weekend and then back at work you find yourself craving more food then you need. Like right now I'm full from lunch but would love to have a donut like I did on Saturday. Gotta forget about the indulgant food and get back on track and try to stick to my RDI. I might end up eating over this week as I'm doing the extra farm work. I try to keep it down though! Went for a run at lunch time. It felt good but when we got back I was feeling tired and could go for a nap. Gotta get to bed early tonight as I'll have to get up early in the morning. Normally I get up around 6:30 but I have to get up 5:45 tomorrow.

Hope everyone is having a good day!

Wow you are in for a busy week! Barn chores sound like work that has to be done that is a workout without feeling like a workout, if that makes sense and you did your run! You'll be ok if you go over calories a bit this week. Your weekend sounds great and I totally agree about eating too much on the weekends then wanting more than we need at work! I asked my mom yesterday why when I'm home its not a big deal to eat something very small for breakfast or even skip it, but at work I feel like I'm starving all morning.
