Canadient's Journal, 19 July 2013

Well I'm impressed. I had one and a half grilled cheese for dinner, for 3 slices bread, and my carbs for the day were slightly under 50g; leaving room for some smokies as a snack. Good to know I can still indulge on bread without throwing my diet completely off track. My total calories, after two smokies, will be just over 1500; also good.

My doc changed one of my meds recently, and the withdrawal has kicked in hard tonight. His words to me were "there's no easy way to (switch over), you just gotta do it." Blech, this is awful. I may disappear for a few days if this gets worse...

I so know what that's like to go and switch a med. It took me almost a year to wean myself off of an antidepressant. It was a mess!! I am doing so much better now that I'm off of them completely!! For me, once I got the pain under control, I didn't need them any more. I had pain that caused my depression, not pain caused by depression. Big difference. The doc and I discussed it and he understood what I meant. So now I'm free of those. I hope you feel better soon!! ((hugs))
