MommieAnya0220's Journal, 12 September 2008

I moved some HEAVY furniture around in my room.. and I'm counting that as heavy duty pushups...because that crap was working EVERY muscle in my body, EVEN my facial muscles. lol.

It's so cloudy and humid out right now, but I really need to go on a walk. It just looks like it's going to rain, although the radar says there's nothing going on.

I just hate being so sweaty.. Oh, and I need to mention that because of all the stress due to my first Medical Coding test yesterday, I gained .2 of a pound.. I'm not recording it though, because I just don't want to look at that right now.

I'm seriously debating in my head whether or not I want to take a walk right now. I really don't feel like it right now, I need a shower, and I want fooooood. :( Ho hum..

Oh my little boy just motioned to me that he's got a wet one.. It's almost time to start potty training. :) I'm SO glad we have laminate/wood flooring, because clean up will be easier than on carpet. I have got to get a potty chair.. I think this will be fun. My son LOVES stickers, and chocolate, so I could do a sticker chart and give him an M&M when he does something on the chart. I just can't believe my son is almost 2.. already. It's so insane how quickly it all goes.

My son is 20 months old and just getting to where he tugs on his diaper for me to change it everytime he goes. So, that may be a clear sign to start with a potty. Diapers cost to much to change it everytime he has a little tinkle!! LOL. When will your son be 2? Flies by doesn't it??

Oh yeah, I remember potty training, best of luck with that! I also remember how difficult it can be to fit in exercise around a toddler but you're doing great, 21 lbs gone forever, that's awesome! (O:

Good for getting the moving furniture work out in. ;0) If you are hungry and debating a walk... opt for the walk first with a bottle of water in tow. :) Them chitlens grow up before you know it.... tomorrow he'll be starting school! Treasure the toddling days, they are very special.

My son is almost three and we've almost got him 100% trained. It took a lot longer than I expected, but he never really started caring about wet diapers or underwear until 2 and half. The occasional accident, the occasional incident in a public store where he hides and refuses to tell me about #2 in his underwear. But it's progress not perfection right! Good luck.

Average age for boys completing potty-training is 4, anything sooner and you're doing pretty darn good (you learn a lot as a day care provider for 2 years).
