I need to get back on track. My eating has been ok, but I've been slowly slipping up and eating more junk. Also I haven't been walking everyday. I have school in the evening and really no excuse not to walk in the morning. I'll just have to make sure I get up early enough so it's still cool for my dog. I weighed myself today and I've gained 2 lbs. I'm ok with it. I was so afraid I'd step on the scale and it'd be back up to the high 250s or 260s, so I was actually relieved. I've caught myself before I got to out of control.

I know it is hard when you are busy...but that is when you have to be the most careful. It is so hard when you want to cut corners because you are running out of time. Make it a priority to get up and walk in the morning. Then take time to plan out your food for the day. I find when I don't plan what is for supper I tend to slip back into the food that I used to fix that wasn't always the best. Keep trying...you can do this!

You're still trying to find your ideal schedule, and that's okay! Once you find it though, you have to stick to it! :D And good for you for catching this before it got out of control!

It's funny because I always thought when I'm not in school/working it'd be hard to stay on track because I'm home all day and it's easier to snack away. Now that I'm busy again it's actually the opposite. I find myself stopping to eat a lot. I'll cook the kids a healthy lunch/dinner, but grab some fast food for me....makes no sense!

That's silly; sit down and eat with them! If you cooked something nice and healthy for them, why can't you join in?
