Day 7: 10 TO 30 POUNDS BY November OR BUST

Well the first week has gone very well, I think. I exceeded all the requirements for the mini challenge this week. I have journalled daily, exercised 4 times, and lost 4.5lbs. (woot, Hurdle number 1 was 260, 2nd time I am below that mark and this time I will stay there!)

Now is time to dig in and go for it. The first week or two in losing weight are always the easiest for me, so now is when I will have to keep strong and go forth. 1lb a week average I have kept up in the past, but I really want to go for my higher end goal of losing between 25-30lbs in this challenge period so I need to keep up this weeks rate of loss....

I am so very grateful for all the support and encouragement I receive here, as well as fantastic tools to keep me focused.

This site is great for motivation. The challenges alone keep me from doing any slacking. You're doing great so far. Good luck on hitting your target by November.

Rock on Sima! Getting under that 260 mark feels awesome! I remember thinking that once I got under it I would never have to go back there again. It was up to me, and it was a very liberating feeling. I know that you will never go there again either, and here's to making it to the 240's, which you will do in no time!
