SOCIOLOGY. (group psychology) It's a class I was supposed to take in college, but on the first day, the professor told us if we weren't really interested, we didn't have to come to class and he would give us an "A" grade anyway! I took him up on it, and he was true to his word. Unfortunately, I had nightmares about him NOT giving that good grade for about 20 years after that! I should have gone to class. Now I really know, I SHOULD HAVE GONE TO CLASS!!! Sociology at FS is absolutely fascinating! To see the impact of what happens here is marvelous. Even when we are stripped of the ability to speak audibly to each other, see each other's expressions, touch each other (c'mon, c'mon -- you KNOW I mean in sympathy!!) there is still so much that is magical, validating, healing. . . OK, so maybe this is all 'cause I woke up at 2:30 am and never got back to sleep. I know I tend to wax philosophical when I'm sleep deprived! Unfortunately, another work day is beckoning. Kick butt everybody!
