Things are starting to look up for me! FINALLY! Not only did I bust through my 30lb mark this past week...I got called the day before yesterday for a job interview this coming Saturday!
For those that don't know, i've been out of work since January 2009. I was laid off "due to the downturn in the economy". The majority of that year though, I was recovering from emergency back surgery I had in December 2008. Yeah...now you know why I have my reason for lay off in quotes. But anyway...
My unemployment ran out earlier this month - and I really wasn't looking forward to depleting my savings account just trying to pay my bills. My interview is with AC Moore - and while I can say that I LOVE this store, i'm a little anxious about working retail again. Mainly because of my back. I don't know if i'll be able to take the long days on my feet. But - I won't know unless I try. And it'll be an income - and i'm grateful for that. And the way i've been praying is that I can get some kind of a job and take a medical transcription course...so...like I said, things look like they're finally starting to come together :) Thank you, Lord!
So, if you think of it, keep me in your prayers Saturday at 3pm! I'm nervous, but I know if this is where God wants me, He'll open the door! :)
