I've decided to take a break from recording foods and the pitiful amount of exercise I'm getting right now. I feel stuck in a rut, and I've got to break through.

This doesn't mean I won't be around. I still need to check in every day or so to see how everyone else is doing. My weight hasn't changed by more than a pound or two back and forth, so I'm not doing horribly just feel like I'm spinning my wheels.

I will continue to eat mindfully, and hopefully the freedom from recording everything will help me get unstuck. We'll see where I'm at in a month...

Sounds like a good plan. I have decided I will do the same by September; that will give me a good solid year of eating healthy and nearly a year of recording and thinking about food choices; will be time to see how I do without the leash of an application.

Sheysdrm ; I started eating healthy end of Aug12 - joined FS end of Oct12. So 6-8 mos or so now while I work on portion control, sizing up servings, understanding the nutritional breakdown calorie/fat/carb/sugar and generally trying to get my mental database of food & eating in order for what I hope lasts the rest of my life this time.
