I don't know what's going on, but today's been a little more stressful for me than normal. I'm sure it has to do with hormones partly.. but trying to keep my son from going through the doggie door, while trying to let the dogs have free access in and out of the house was NOT working this morning. Owen had a complete meltdown, which is no fun to witness or to comfort. He's got his mother's temper. :| So, to break up the stress, and take my son's focus off the doggie door, we went on a LOOOONG walk. I went on a total of a three mile walk today, within 45 minutes or so. Just focusing on getting somewhere and not walking on any gravel helps clear my head for some reason. Plus, exercise helps raise the endorphin levels in the brain, so God knows I needed that too. I just wasn't having a good morning, and my walk helped cool things down.

My poor sunburn. It's finally healed, but now it's going into leather skin mode, and I'm NOT liking that. I'm slathering on the cocoa butter and aloe as often as I can (at least once a day) and it's still healing, soaking it all up.. I HATE the little blisters before it starts to peel, therefore, I'm trying to prevent that.

Anyway, I mainly just wanted to write about my 3 mile walk, and to update a little. I'm so excited. My dad comes home from his European softball trip tonight so it'll be real nice to see him again, especially with all this crap going on over in Georgia and Russia.

Off to the showers!

Great job on the walk. It is finally starting to cool off here a little, so I am going to get my butt outside walking!!

I am sorry that you had a bad morning! Good job getting out for the walk. Sunburn is the worst. I got one at the end of May and it was terrible. It really hits your whole system and tires you out. Take care of yourself.
