The tofu shirataki noodles were actually a pretty decent substitue for spaghetti noodles. Yawm!

Now let's see if it slows down my afterwork trail run today. Today should be a good challenge as it's the hottest day of the current heatwave... and there's quite a bit of wind added on top of that.

So.... BRING IT ON!!!!!!!!!!!

So Jealous! I had to scrape ice off my windows this morning and the temp is 32 degrees F. I want to try zucchini noodle substitute and see how that works for pasta marinated in homemade tomato basil sauce. *drool Riced Cauliflower works for me as a rice sub! Enjoy your day and LEAVE IT ALL ON THE TRAIL! ;)

Tanks. Funny you mention that, I made my first mashed cauliflower for lunch today (very tasty!) to go along with my swedish meatballs with flatbread "flat noodles". But, I definitely need a food processer. The run drained me. I had to dig down really deep to finish the last 20 minutes, but I accomplished my goal. hoorah!

I had a food processor once and turned everything I tried to process into mush lol. I use the cheese grater by hand to make riced cauliflower... actually my daughter does it and wont let me do it. Here I could have saved money and not bought her a wii and an xbox kinect... all I had to do was just bring her into the kitchen with me and show her some kitchen tools - ROFL!

I notice heavy food weighs me down too... This was a high caloric week for me. Keep up the great work!

I miss rice. I'll try the riced cauliflower next! Yea, I can definitely feel the difference with hier sugar/carb foods. Slows me down and makes me want to take a nap!

...and THATS the EXACT reason I was addicted to eating carbs right before I went to sleep at night :D I sub eating carbs now with reading boring novels before I sleep. Once again you have inspired me. This Sunday will be my food prep day. I will be grilling Chicken, Hard Boiling Eggs, Riceing Cauliflower, Chopping Lettuce, you name it - I am going for it this next week. When I step on the scale I want to see results! (And feel results in and out of the gym) *high-five!

Np, buddy! It's all about eating tasty foods that are good for the bod... even if it takes a little more preparation to eat healthier while still having great tasting eats :)
