Day 1 of my super secret challenge that can only be viewed through the URL, that I can't figure out how to post here, but those in it know how to get to it!
I weighed today and told hubby to hide the scale until May 31, he thinks I'm funny, but he doesn't understand the love/hate relationship the scale and I have. I also did my measurements and this is the first time since I started tracking them in April 2012 that I have had an increase in inches. Yikes! So I am super psyched to get my $#@t together :) I will be 140 by the end of May and my hips will be much closer to 38 inches. I went super low on my squats today, so I will probably walk like a duck tomorrow, that's ok as long as my butt and thighs get smaller and stop jiggling, I'll just walk like a duck :)

I'm going to take my measurements this evening. I was going to do a cheat weigh in before we go on vacation on the 24th, but I think that if I'm taking measurments I should be good. I'm also going to pull out a pair of capris that I know are snug and use them as a measure too. I'm hoping not seeing the number but seeing the actual progress will be more helpful. Thanks for starting this challenge!!

The duck walk gets less noticable after a while. I learned that from the cows. It helps if you wear cowboy boots though.. People expect you to walk funny in cowboy boots and they stop looking at you like you're weird. Well they still look at me like i'm weird but that's usually because I've said something weird. Or done something weird... I should take measurements! I'm afraid my boobs are shrinking though. If I measure I can't be in denial anymore.

Welcome :) I am hoping the same thing. I think seeing that number, I am focusing too much on it and sabotaging myself. I usually only measure once a month, but I think during this challenge, I will check my measuremets again in 2 weeks.

LOL, I bought a pair of cowboy boots this winter, hubby thought I was nuts, but my daughter loves them. She has pink cowboy boots she wears with everything. . .jeans, shorts, dresses. My boobs are the place I hate to measure the most because I don't want their size to change. They need to stay just like they are (or grow, but I think I am probably past the point of a growth spurt:), everything else needs to shrink.

That's a great idea, taking measurements today and then in 2 weeks and at the end of the month. Looking forward to this challenge! I did some squats and lunges on Monday and today it is hurting to sit down... but no pain no gain well in this case no weight loss!

aggie it always seems to hurt worse the second day! But true no pain no. . . loss:)
