Sandy701's Journal, 26 April 2013

Never got to the yardwork yesterday and had an acute peanut butter attack late last night. I was hungry yesterday, hungry this morning and really hungry now...must be something I'm eating that's triggering this (well, duh!....like PB???).

I did my volunteer thing this AM and then headed on over to the gym for some time on their elliptical. In between, I consigned a few more too-big clothing items and picked up a small check for some things that have sold. It certainly won't make me a millionaire anytime soon - LOL!

I also popped in to the grocery store for a few things I forgot when I had my neighbor there with me last weekend PLUS we're actually running out of salad greens! In between these errands, my HVAC company called to say that replacement part was in and could they come out today to put it in. So, I headed home just in time for them to get there and get it replaced....all no charge....under warranty....yay!

I had a cheese stick with me to tide me over, if I needed it. I snarfed that right after the gym and was still hungry (had had melon and bacon before heading out this AM). I bought some more cheese sticks at the grocery just so I could have something else to eat on the way home. Now, it's after 2PM and I'm ready for breakfast, lunch AND dinner! I'm going to make up something a bit different to see if I can get my hunger back under control.

After having something, we'll see if I can get any yardwork done yet today. At least I bought new gas for all the implements as I was doing everything else this AM.

The weather's just gorgeous, so it would be a shame to waste the day on too many indoor tasks.

Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner - I've had those meals before! My appetite seems to be affected by my mood, which is affected by ??? One good thing about yard work - it will still be there when you get around to it.

Peanut, peanut butter! Do you watch survivior? This last episode, one of the rewards was a HUGE HUGE bowl of peanutbutter! They had 60 seconds to all dig in and eat as much as they could and what ever they had on their HANDS and face and etc, they could take back with them. All they were missing was the chocolate bar. I LOVE peanutbutter, it doesn't love me. HA. My yard is staring at me as I type, calling me,come play with me, come have some fun in the sun! enjoy the amazing day!

LGM, I DID watch Survivor and thought that that huge bowl of PB would be EXACTLY what I would want at that point.....that PLUS that roasted chicken! They can all have the drinks and chocolate they want....just give me protein!!

AC is a wonderful thing to have when you need it & I know you need it a lot where you live. I am with Buffy on the totally cluelessness of what drives the mood. What the heck is it about PB anyway? Soooo many calories. Hang in there...it will pass...just seems like it takes forever. For me, it gets worse as the day progresses.

It's funny how our body works. Some days you could go all day without really even thinking about food and other days you start the day famished and it just seems to gnaw at you all day long. Even when you're not really doing anything different. What's up with that? LOL! Peanut butter is my hot button food too, I have to be very careful about portion sizes or I can get myself into trouble FAST. Hope you're having a great weekend my friend!
