Need good thoughts. Smokey got out of the house and out of the yard. He's indoor only. Been missing seven hours so far. Been searching, haven't eaten, going to bed because I still need to be functional to go out and search for him in the morning. I'm a mess. Put him up on all the websites, told most of the neighbors. Hoping he's just close. I'm not going to overeat or anything, I'm going to bed to try and get some sleep.

Katsolo- I am so sorry. Cats as you know are very scent driven. take your sheets off the bed and put them along with your dirty laundry on the doorstep. If he finds his way home he will likely crawl up into the bedding and clothes. Your scent will help him find his way home. All the best and sending positive thoughts.

Happy that Smokey's been found. I hope he's aware of how lucky he is to have a care giver like you. My George & Serena like to go out, but Serena's too fat to get out of the back patio, and George knows the rules! I only let them out on days when I'm home and can observe their shenanigans. Of course there are those rare days when George likes to pull my chain, but he's always home before I go to bed.
