Oh...Thank you so much to my sister for introducing me to heavy whipping cream!!! I use it in my coffee and I love my coffee again! I used to put more cream & sugar in my coffe than there was coffee and when I started Atkins I went to using a tiny smidge of powdered creamer & 1/2 packet of Stevia. Well, I hated my coffee (but of course I still had to choke it down) :-)
Now I put a bit of the heavy whipping cream in it and YUM! No carbs, no sugar and it helps me get the DRI of fat which I have been falling short of.

Next thing you know you will have gotten some flavored sugar free syrups, and turned them into amazing lattes with heavy whipping cream...

I don't have an expresso maker, so really they are more like capaccinos... but whatever... lol I just heat my cream in the microwave, and brew really, really strong coffee... then I just add a squirt or 2 of caramel and vanilla (sugar free of course, I use Torani) into the milk, add the coffee, until the cup is full, and stir. They keep me from going to the coffee shop... Not quite as good, but good enough. If you don't have enough syrup you can add a little splenda to help sweeten it slightly... I ordered my syrups in a sampler pack from amazon... it was a good deal, I'm sure they still have it. I got 6 big bottles for around $30. instead of $8 a bottle. And the syrups are great in baking too.
