corinnas54's Journal, 25 April 2013

Feeling pretty good over all, my weight seems to finally be dropping on a consistent basis. There were a few weeks with little to no progress and I was frustrated. I am a little sad because today was my last personal training session and I am really going to miss the amazing workouts and the accountability. I really wish I could continue, but at $85 an hour I just can't justify it anymore. Especially since I have only lost about 9lbs over the last 11 weeks since I have been going twice a week (which isn't bad but seems low for that amount of money). I think I can do at least that well on my own (weight wise)although maybe not strengh wise. I loose most of the weight I think from cardio and I can do that on my own, but the training sessions were a lot strengthening and core stuff, I am going to miss it.

http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/jamie-easons-livefit-introduction.html This is what I have been doing and it is great. I have built so much strength! I started March 3 and weighed 192, yesterday I weighed 179.8, plus I've lost 13 inches and gained a TON of muscle. If you're looking for a good strength training program, this is a good one. And it's free :)

Yay! Let me know how you like it if you decide to give it a go. I love it because anyone can do it, no matter their fitness level. And it's awesome every time I go up in weight on an exercise...especially an arm exercise. My arms are wimpy, but they are slowly getting stronger :)

I think I will try it out starting next week. This week I am doing some training at work and will be doing 12-16 hr days, so won't get too much excercise in. I will let you know next week how I like it! Thanks again for the info :)

No problem! Be prepared, it starts out at 4 days a week for the first 2 weeks, then goes to 5 days a week for the next 2 weeks...The last 8 weeks are 6 days a week. Six days a week is hard. Today was my first workout of phase 3 and this last month is going to be hard!
