Hubby is making what used to be a very favourite very sweet sugar laden dessert I used to love, to take with us tonight as we have to provide a dessert. I am having an odd reaction to it - I want to dive in and eat the lot! Of course I wont even touch it - but even without tasting a molecule of it my craving for it was through the roof! It doesn't help that I ate quite a few hours ago but I am surprised at the reaction to this one dessert - nothing else has ever done that to me!

Great job avoiding the temptation. Sounds like it is a VERY tasty dessert! Try having something salty like some green olives or a dill pickle to see if that helps settle your craving. Or a cup of coffee works well too. Have fun tonight! (And don't let that sugar get the best of you!)

Thanks Holly! Yeah I need to eat as it has been around 5 hours since I last ate. And I never know what I will get fed when we are out LOL.
The dessert is whipped cream, chocolate chip cookies soaked in lemonade, maple syrup. In layers. Lots of layers. Lots of sugar. Sugar coma stuff really.........

I ate a dash of salt before I ran and jumped in the shower, by the time I got out the craving had gone - yay! Eating some chicken now as a just in case snack before we leave LOL

Oh my, that sounds heavenly! Good job avoiding the diving in a dn eating it part. Probably a smart move letting DH make this one. As for the craving, it may be that you are associating it with happy times, friends, and family.
