Gabby1805's Journal, 02 April 2013

Finally back on track. I got on the scale yesterday and though I have not actually been able to workout I have still maintained my size to a certain extent. There is a .2 gain but that is nothing compared to what I expected. I know that It is a process that you have to maintain on a daily basis. There are times when I realize that it is so easy to do the wrong thing, that is why it is wrong. But taking the right path takes alot of work, because you earn it. It was so easy to gain the weight but it is strenuous to drop it. I do think that because of the complications in weight loss i won't allow myself to get this overweight again. It is entirely too much work to lose weight and so much easier to just maintain. I know it is hard but hard work never goes unnoticed, even if your the only one that notices. Getting up earlier is hard but getting into a smaller pair of shorts this summer is worth it. Zumba here I come.

I think the hardest part is the commitment, walking away from bad habits that often times you weren't aware of the impact. A great deal of weight loss is self talk, pat yourself on the back for any improvements. Keep up the good work, you are worth it!
