Good Tuesday morning from North Idaho!!

For a Monday, yesterday went well enough. Today I have some paperwork to catch up on and a conference call this afternoon. We have been having warm temperatures and I'm looking forward to the forecast of temps in the 70's and 80's by the weekend. I'm not really a good hot weather person unless I am on vacation!! LOL!!!

Saw a 'wild' critter in the house this morning. A very bold mouse running about my kitchen counter and hiding in my stove!! YIKES!!! It actually hid where the vent is on my stove and poked out its head to look at me. Sort of cute if it wasn't in MY house.

We've also noticed some bear scat on the road that leads to our house. There was a fresh pile this morning. So, there is a bear wandering about. Fortunately I did not see the bear. Don't really want an up close and personal encounter while walking the dog!!

Today I am grateful for ...

1. a good night's sleep

2. selling a few items on eBay

3. a day to catch up on paperwork at the office

4. riding the waves of fluctuation without worry or concern

5. feeling more graceful as I do my Pilates ... some days are more difficult than others but indeed I am learning to 'enjoy my Pilates body' (she tells me that at the end of the DVD!!!)

And so ... another opportunity to be kind to myself and to focus on the positives, embracing what is instead of begrudging what 'might have been' or 'what might be'!! Have a great day ... take good care of yourselves!!

One of my co-workers has a mouse in her car right now! She can't get rid of it, and it seems to enjoy eating the tissues! LOL Be careful with a bear in the area - they aren't as cute and cuddly in person as they are on the cartoons!!!

Perhaps the mouse and the bear are partners in crime? I hope the bear leaves you and your dog alone to your walks. 70's and 80's?? oh my... its freaken HOT here. :(

LOL, HMM.... Moose's Mouse, Bear, was it a wolf or coyote? Northern Idaho, living in nature hearing the call of the wild, it sounds lovely. Just be careful and bring your pepper spray on yoru walks or a can of that wasp spray as it has quite a stream and aim so you don't have to be so close to protect yourself and your Doggy. Lets eat air today lol...and breathe in the fresh air! TOWANDA!!!

Moose, it just sounds heavenly up there in Idaho. Lived there as a child, in Mountain Home. Dad was in the service. It is such a beautiful state! I have an uncle that lives Idaho Falls. Have a great day, and watch out for that mouse!! Oh, and the bear!

Help me as my creative energy hath runneth over the deep end. I was thinkng about what it means to "eat air" Deep breath in and out. With my creative mind I was visualizing all the fabulous things I could think about while breathing, .... Imagine for a moment if you will. Then, Being the happily married woman that I am I invisoned being next to my husband and all of the sudden it occured to me that eating some air may not be a good thing LOL. He can be an old fart at times:) I probably owe an apology here but it struck me funny. TOWANDA!!!

Moose, you better keep packin'. Bear, OMG. I would love being there, but I have to say WILD critters scare me. Mice, I can deal, Bear, I cannot. Have a wonderful and "safe" day Moose.

Yikes! Watch out for that bear. When I was in Washington last month, I noticed my friend had a sign in her yard that read "Bear Crossing". It had been put up as a joke because as she cleaned house one day she caught a glance out the window and happened to see a bear lumbering across the lawn. lol I was thankful I didn't see one during my stay there!

Bears and mice????? ahhhhhh Moose where do you live??? in the woods????? that is insane. I dont think I have ever seen a real moose, and maybe a bear once, at the zoo!have a great day and steer clear of the wild life!

Hot here indeed. Where are you October? I used to have nightmares about bears. You can keep them! Supposedly theres a coyote on my work property, but I've never seen him. I've seen several rattlesnakes though on various hiking trips. Lisa's old fart has me laughing. Lol

Ack, I hate mice. They really freak me out more than bears. I blame it on the video I had to watch once about how to sacrifice lab rodents and it was just nasty. Really nasty.

"I love hot weather when I am in a cold building" "I love hot weather..." wait, what??

LOL!!! I don't like it when mice surprise me and they usually do. One doesn't really expect to see something scurrying about on the kitchen counters ... plus they can carry nasty stuff!! But, that is life in the woods. I don't mind bears if I see them from a distance but I'm not really in favor of an up close and personal encounter!! 90's is hot for here!! LOL!!! If I really wanted to roast I'd move to the desert (opps I almost spelled dessert ... Freudian slip??)

I saw some fresh bear scat this past weekend...not the bear tho...! My sis has a *pet* Chippy...(chipmunk) - he'll eat from her hand...I've hit a moose on the interstate, had eagles follow us downriver...being present to enjoy (or not!) wildlife is a big part of my life...and we are fortunate Moose, to be so lucky to have it close by...be careful tho! thank you for the daily reminders...It's working for me!! huggggies
