Cake ordered - check....took care of that yesterday.

Made my US NAVY door wreath...need to get an anchor to put on it but it looks good.

The Upholstery Spray Paint...the girl at Hobby Lobby was impressed that they had it. I chose a bright red since it is for the deck furniture and it will brighten things up. One can is $10, and it will do a chair and an ottoman. So even three or four cans at $30 - $40 is better than buying ALL new cushions....That can get pricey for a loveseat, two chairs and two ottomans. DH didn't think it looked bad...hahaha...so it actually must not. First coat DD was like "um that doesn't look good" LOL. After a second coat....MUCH better. If I get really brave and creative I may even stencil a design on the two ottoman cushions. We will see though.

So today I will go and pick up two more cans...I would love to have this done by Saturday. Ohhhhh took the HUGE ass curtain down in the livingroom..thinking I am going to wash this. Got to the LAST hook and guess what "dry clean only". I know this curtain has not been weighed since we moved in (June of last year) and by the looks of it (the bottom) it has been a long time prior to then. I was embarrassed to even take it in because it was so FILTHY. She told me that they charge by POUND, but will not weigh it until it is clean of all the dirt. I am guessing that it was 10#...hoping that it isn't more than that...YIKES!

The sun is out and it is cold but beautiful. It is supposed to be in the mid 50's today (and it was yesterday). We are SUPPOSED to see 60's by the end of the week and that makes me VERY happy!!!!

DD goes to get her hair cut today. Now not that she has super long hair but she has never worn a short cut...I think she can pull it off...she is petite and tiny....but will be totally different and foreign for her. She has issues with her hair and it is her achilles heal (so to speak). She has thick, coarse, curly hair and that is not a good combination. She has been getting the straightener put in it (which makes it manageable) and she even still uses the flat iron on it. Really it is kinky....like white girl with an afro. I actually think she will be surprised at how fast it will grow out and maybe how much healthier it will be over the 8 - 9 week period that she is in boot camp (no products and no flat iron). She has two short styles picked out and already posted RIP to her hair on her facebook status last night. So we are less than two weeks now *sigh*.....not going to dwell on that.
