A new day and a new week!!! DH and I went to the store yesterday and stocked up. He (who claims to hate fish....he just doesn't want to eat it) has decided that he does need to eat more fish. So we have Salmon Burgers and garlic pepper fish in the freezer. We will be having fish tonight...just need to pull out one and updated my food journal.

Also, stocked up on veggies....a HUGE container of baby spinach from Costco and also found some shredded cabbage (I will not be making cole slaw but it is a quick easy fix to steam (or use with teriyaki chicken...which DD has requested).

I got some of the outdoor cushions washed yesterday and today I will be visiting Hobby Lobby to see if they have some of the Upholstery Spray Paint. DH wants to 'buy' new cushions but I convinced him to let me 'try' the upholstery paint experiment first....crossing my fingers!!

The weather was great yesterday (SUNNY) and I actually fired up the grill. We had steak and a lobster tail but I did have too much wine. TOM is here and I think my emotions will be a little more under control. We went to the hocky semi-finals Friday and Saturday (DH and DD and myself) and that was a lot of fun...won both times and some good fights.

I feel like I have been kind of going through the motions the past couple of weeks and not really working hard like I should. I have gotten off track with my lack of veggies and my exercise has kind of fallen to the wayside (although yesterday I did get the exercise in the way of climbing the ladder and cleaning the ceiling and ceiling fans and walls some...haha). So this is a new week (SUNNY again) and I am recommitting to doing better than the last couple of weeks.

We will have Filipino food catered in on Saturday but the Tocino and Bistek are meats and not too bad. I will stay away from the fried rice and Pancit and may have one Lumpia. Got to go today and get the cake ordered. It will be a busy week; for sure but I am going to make certain that I get my veggies in and try to work in the exercise (even if in 5 minutes breaks).

Thanks again to all of my FS friends that have been so supportive. I hope you all know how much help you have been and not sure I would have not completely fallen back off track if it weren't for you all. So sending out much love and thanks to each and every one of you!!

Jaime.. that's all we can do is take it one day at a time....You know we got you! Don't be hard on yourself when you are feeling down - we are all human and have to ride it out! You're a trooper and you will get thru this feeling.. Why do I say this - just went thru some stressors (not just being sick) the past 3-4 weeks and I'm still trying to stick my head out the sand.. lol lol lol.. So again we got you and please be strong!

Girl you sound like you are running! Just reading your posts made me tired lol. You are doing awesome and I agree, when it's sunny out - it really does change our mood and how we feel. I'm jealous that you are having such nice weather. It has been non-stop snowing here since about 2 am this morning and it's going on 4 pm. Ugh...lol

EW - snow...lol - When it's sunny here in WA you really need to take advantage of it!!! Right Jaime?? :) I agree with Mrs. H - you poop me out just reading what you're doing! But, you just put your head down and power thru - we're all here for you to vent, or laugh (just read DairyFarmersWife's posts!!) Hang in there hun!

Not one of us ever doubted that you'd come through the other side sunny side up, your a trooper, you can do what ever you set your mind to. We all know it but it's so good to see you've caught on now too! Go Jaime, conquer those demons, be the very best you can be and we'll be on your side lines to cheer you to the finish line.
