So disappointed! Two days ago I weighed myself and I went from 179.6 to 178.4..... I exercised that night and went out dancing for hours!!!!! Nada after that!!!! I dont get it, it's like if I sit on my ass I will lose weight but if I exercise it just hangs around! This is so irritating!

There is nothing wrong, it's just your impatience. Losing weight isn't an exact science. You may not see results from what you do this week, until next week. You can do everything right and gain and overeat one week and lose big. The most important thing is to stay consistent on your plan and exercise. It will come off. It just takes time. Plus, exercise can make your muscles retain water which can show up on the scale as no loss or a gain. It is temporary water weight (when you do exercise that your muscles aren't used to). Just dig your heals in and be in this for the long haul.

Twice now, I've had days where I go to the gym in the morning, and then run/walk the boardwalk that night, and both times, the next morning, I was up!!! I was SO PISSED!! I mean, I kill myself at the gym, kill myself on the boardwalk, and for what - to gain weight?!? Having said that, just give it time. For me, the boardwalk is something new, so the muscles are not used to it, hence they are growing, and retaining water. Same for you and your night dancing. You'll be fine, and keep up the good work!

You really can't look at it like that. What you do one day doesn't necessarily show up on the scale immediately. After going to the gym your muscles are retaining some water and repairing themselves. You are doing good things to your body by exercising, but the timing for when things show up on the scale isn't going to be exact and will doubtfully be the next morning. It sounds to me like you are starting to drive yourself nuts by weighing in every day or more... maybe you should consider just weighing in once a week.

I do normally weigh myself once a week, this week I was just curious.

Yea I have similar experiences too. It'll be like a pound up, a pound down, a pound up, and then the next week all of the sudden I'm like wait, what? 3 pounds at once! It's a pain, but as long as it eventually shows up, I don't mind! Good luck :)
