Back to 176.2 this morning.

Surely did blow it at lunch though and I'm definitely not in ketosis. I took a friend to my favorite burger place where I was totally planning on having a nice bun-free burger and side salad. We were sitting around checking out the menu when the waiter brought by a giant plate of sweet potato fries which he said he "owed me" from some previous visit. I vaguely remember that. I wouldn't have ordered them but I couldn't resist them. That was the best thing about Primal Blueprint was the occasional baked sweet potato (and sometimes fries with ginger dipping sauce).

Luckily my friend ate most of them. But gah. I hate it when I blow it so thoroughly. And the devil on my shoulder is telling me that we're going to Maltby's tomorrow and they have the best sweet potato fries in the valley (crinkle cut!) and since I'm already out of ketosis one more day wouldn't hurt. Get thee behind me, oh sweet talking, starch-pushing devil. *wry grin*
176.2 lb Lost so far: 43.8 lb.    Still to go: 26.2 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Hey! 1 little slip up is usual for everyone, a planned pig out is not.... You can do better, the fries can wait, your health can't. Shake like a dog my friend and get that devil off that shoulder then stomp on him once he hits the ground and run run run to the nearest door.

Hahaha, I love the image. Did you ever see the Lady Cottington's Pressed Fairy Book? I image that squished devil just like those fairies. LOL Thank you, again, for your support! I am steeling myself against the Maltby's fries tonight. It is hard sometimes being the only low carber in my group of friends because they like to order onion rings or pitchers of Sangria "for the table" and stuff like that.
