Well I ate pretty well today, which I am really proud of because I had a lot of barriers. I couldn't plan ahead because I didn't know what was being served for lunch until I arrived at a lunch meeting. Thankfully I still ate pretty good. They had a salad on the table and a "buffet" of chicken bowtie pasta and rolls. I honestly served myself about 3/4 cup of pasta and ate my salad. Skipped the rolls altogether. There was a piece of cake at every setting. At first I wasn't going to eat it at all. Then I figured that I could have one bite. So I took a couple of bites. I wanted to break down and eat the whole thing, but I stopped myself after a few bites and covered it with my napkin. Yea for portion control. I have never really had the much control over myself in the past so it felt really good.
I also ate with my in-laws tonight. I gave them 3 choices of places I know I could eat well at. They choose olive garden. I got online and my calorie count and mapped out my whole meal in advance. I also told James what I was allowed to eat and have him monitor me so I didn't cheat too much. I also asked him not to order alfredo sauce so I wasn't tempted to eat that or breadsticks. So I am pround to report that I ate exactly what I had planned (didn't even eat a breadstick) and I stayed within my calorie range!!!

That is really awesome.. You should feel really good about yourself.. that is a huge deal. Congrats and good job. :)
